Accessing Electronic Treatises

The McKusick Law Library does not maintain most tax treatises in print.  Below is a summary of the most-commonly consulted tax looseleafs and treatises and how to access them electronically.

United States Tax Reporter - RIA
The USTR covers income, estate, gift, excise, and employment tax issues and is arranged by code section. Access is via RIA Checkpoint.

Federal Tax Coordinator 2d - RIA
The Federal Tax Coordinator is arranged by subject matter and covers income, gift, estate and excise taxes. Access is via RIA Checkpoint.

Merten's Law of Federal Income Taxation
Mertens is arranged by subject and covers income tax provisions only. Access is via WestlawNext.

Tax Management Portfolios
Each portfolio covers a specific topic, with portfolios ranging in various subject areas including Federal Income Taxation, Estates, Gift and Trust Taxation, and Foreign Income Taxation. Access is via Bloomberg Law.
