Commercial Current Awareness Services

The various commercial services each offer access to curent awareness services.  Subscription/delivery options vary by services.  If you would like assistance in setting up a current awareness service, please contact a member of the law library staff.

 

Free Current Awareness Services

In addition to blogs (selected tax law blogs are included to the right), there are several other helpful free current awareness services:

  • IRS Guide Wire
    • "Subscribe to IRS GuideWire to receive notification of guidance issued by the IRS. You will receive an e-mail with a link to the day's revenue rulings, revenue procedures, notices and announcements on IRS.gov. GuideWire also provides notification of IRS-issued regulations and links to the regulations in the Federal Register on the Web site of the U.S. Archives" (from the IRS Website).

  • Tax and Accounting News from Thomson Reuters
  • Free news and headlines from Tax Analysts, the publisher of a popular subscription services called Tax Notes and Tax Notes Today
